Introduction to Head Coach Yang Junfeng

Coach Yang Junfeng

Coach Yang Junfeng, the 12th generation inheritor of Chen-style Tai Chi, was born in Beijing in 1999. Currently, he serves as the chief coach of the Beijing Chenjiagou Tai Chi Training Center. Since childhood, he has been practicing traditional Chen-style Tai Chi, Tai Chi push hands, and ancestral routines such as sword, spear, sword, and staff under the guidance of his father, Master Yang Songquan. He has won numerous awards in national Tai Chi competitions. Since childhood, I have followed my father to teach Tai Chi techniques at multiple training locations. During my study in the UK, I also taught foreign students, accumulating rich bilingual teaching experience. I have been invited several times to perform Chen-style Tai Chi and its weapons at cultural exchange activities organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Head Coach Yang Junfeng’s boxing form is elegant and graceful, his body posture is upright, and his movements are clear. He truly embodies the essence of traditional old Tai Chi, which combines hardness and softness, and is characterized by relaxation, depth, roundness, and flexibility.
