Students’ Feelings

My master said that none of my several “Vajra Pounding the Cone” exercises hurt my waist. So he demonstrated it himself and led me to do it many times. He was sure it was correct and corrected the wrong ones.
The master corrected my laziness in tying up clothes and the practice of “six seals and four closures”, and at the same time gave me instructions. At that time, my legs were shaking so violently that I could hardly hold on. There was a burst of breath in the left part of my heart, and I was sweating profusely. While praising and encouraging me, the master held my left leg with his leg to help me, and at the same time told me where to connect the lungs and where to connect the liver.
The master said that after ventilation, one would feel easy walking, no longer feeling top-heavy, and at the same time, there would be a sense of joy. At that time, I was only focused on wiping the sweat and didn’t fully understand. On my way home, I started hiccupping and breathing, and couldn’t help humming a cheerful song. I guess this is what my master meant by “pleasure”. I’m especially grateful to my master for showing me the true wonders of Tai Chi!

Today, I went to the martial arts school to receive guidance from my master. The question I asked my master was: What is the outer trinity? How can one achieve a three-in-one outer combination? How can one truly relax?
The master adjusted my boxing form, allowing me to experience it by myself and find the answer on my own. At the moment of closing, the lower body was very firm, while the shoulders, elbows and wrists were very loose and heavy. The circulation of qi and blood throughout the body immediately accelerated. The fingers swelled and felt slightly numb. After finishing the exercise, one felt energetic and slightly sweaty all over, feeling extremely comfortable.
But at this moment of being together, it’s hard to hold on for long. Mainly, the root of my thighs is very sore and my legs are shaking. I need to keep “rubbing” to gradually get closer to this state.
Thank you, Master!

When my master corrected my movements for me, I felt as if all the bows in my body were fully drawn, and every part of my body was fully mobilized. It was a feeling of the entire nation being mobilized and fully stimulated.
I used to have a very vague understanding of the movements of Tai Chi, as if they were faintly visible under the starlight. It seemed that I could see them, but I didn’t see them completely. After my master corrected my movements and pointed out the key points for me, I felt instantly enlightened and everything became clear.
For every detail the master mentioned, some seemed to be understood at that time, but in fact, they were forgotten after returning home, which shows that they haven’t truly understood yet. However, many previously vague concepts have begun to become clear. I have started to understand the feeling I should seek when practicing Tai Chi in the future, and I am more confident about my future progress in Tai Chi and my physical health
