Tai Chi, the source of life

Taiji Songquan· Promote the Dao and cultivate righteousness

A time-honored brand established in 1988

The master was shaping the frame for his disciple Liu Yiling

On the fourth day of the fourth lunar month, the Qingming Festival, the master planted a few small cucumber seedlings and said that in a few weeks, we would be able to eat big cucumbers.

At that time, I was half convinced and half skeptical. Unexpectedly, a few weeks later, not only did we see that the scaffold built by the master was covered with cucumber vines, but also that large and fresh ones had grown one after anotherCucumber. It’s really incredible!

In our spare time from training in the martial arts studio, we can often taste these cucumbers that grow up and are exposed to the wind, rain, thunder and lightning of nature every day, rather than those grown in greenhouses. It is truly a blessing.

The master carefully cultivated them, enabling the tiny cucumber seedlings to grow into cucumbers of such size one by one. Even the first-time visitors were astonished and named them “President of Cucumbers”.

The picture on the left is a cucumber and the one on the right is “President Cucumber”.

When I observed the little lives in the dojo carefully again, I felt both surprised and curious.

The master cultivated a wild tree that grew in a crack in the wall into a “welcoming guest pine” and a small grey vegetable that grew in a crack in the ground into a “towering tree”.

The left picture is the “Welcoming Pine”, and the right one is the “Towering Tree”.

This made me fully understand why my master’s Tai Chi could be cultivated to such a high level!

It is precisely because the master attaches such great importance to, is meticulous and responsible towards “life” that he shows an unwavering great love for all kinds of life.

Tai Chi is the source of life.

The cultivation and nourishment of life by my master have made my mind clear and my eyes bright.I failed to do well in many aspects before, and this has had a great influence on me.

All kinds of lives cultivated by the master

The master often says: Tai Chi is a great life.

Therefore, I must take the set of Tai Chi that my master taught me, just as he nurtured various little lives, and put effort into every stroke, making it progress from the simple to the complex and allowing me to practice Tai Chi more deeply.

I believe that only in this way can my Tai Chi improve every day, and with this spirit, I can promote the Tao and cultivate the right path, and save all beings.
