Taiji begins without end
Wuji gives birth to Taiji
Tai Chi has no ultimate limit
The profound principles of Tai Chi are beyond words. Judging from their appearance, they are all signs.
For instance, in Tai Chi, the transformation of the divine dragon is difficult to depict its form. Just like the Tai Chi pushing hands, it is a wonderful and spiritual realm that is beyond words.
Only those who have long been familiar with the way of it can truly understand its essence. Therefore, Tai Chi has been passed down for a long time, but its essence has not been prominently displayed throughout the ages. Without the personal guidance and demonstration of a wise master, one cannot truly understand the essence of internal martial arts.
There are no true scriptures in books; the true scriptures are the teachings and personal examples of the master.
In Taoism, “master” is both a teacher and a father. A master’s practice of the Tao is to cultivate his own life and then guide all sentient beings to cultivate their own lives.
In Taoism, the “master” is a true person and a true fruit. The seeds that bear fruit are planted in the soil and naturally grow new life, eventually bearing fruit.
Therefore, the “master” in Taoism is a true person cultivated through practice and represents the ultimate outcome.
Origin of the activity
After the Major Heat, our training center held an activity called “Receiving Personal Guidance from Masters during the Summer Vacation”.
This is an important part of our efforts to promote the concept of “upholding the Way and nurturing the right path”, aiming to enable more people to extricate themselves from the busy and confused modern life and have the opportunityThey were guided and imparted knowledge by a true Taoist master。
In the first session, over a hundred people signed up for this event. Master Yang Songquan personally guided each participant, practicing frame shaping, acupoint pressing, and qi circulation for them, allowing them to appreciate the infinite mysteries of genuine and traditional Tai Chi.
This is an extremely rare and precious opportunity for every cultivator.
The martial arts school is hidden in the bustling city center. It is a square quadrangle courtyard filled with lush plants. The trainees walked through the long path and arrived at the martial arts hall on time to sign in.

Master’s guidance
Taiji Songquan, promoting the Dao and nurturing righteousness.
What is promoting the way and cultivating righteousness?
To promote the Dao and cultivate righteousness means to mobilize all one’s hands, eyes, body, methods and steps to nourish the intangible righteousness within oneself.Only when one is “upright” can the clear energy rise and the turbid energy fall, ultimately achieving a clear mind and bright eyes.
Heaven rewards the diligent. In fact, it is “Heaven rewards the upright”. As long as we are upright, heaven and earth will help us.The qi that emerges after nurturing the right energy is the innate and natural qi, and it is the reward of the Heavenly Way to all living beings. This is the spirit of uprightness and righteousness, which is also what Mencius called the spirit of integrity and righteousness.
It enables people to grow until the age of sixty, which is the second and third growth of the human body. It enables the human body to give birth to a second and a third life. This is the mystery of how Taoism keeps the human body youthful all the time.
Laozi said, “The Dao gives birth to the three.” An ordinary person has only one life. But a monk has three lives. After long-term and correct cultivation, the human body will experience the growth of its inner life for the second and third times.
“Following the laws of nature and achieving harmony between man and nature are the inherent survival concepts of Chinese civilization.” ” What was said is absolutely right.
Therefore, Daoism is the study of life.

Students’ Feelings
Despite his busy schedule, my master spared no effort in offering advice, guiding me and correcting my movements.
My master said that none of my several “Vajra Pounding the Cone” exercises hurt my waist. So he demonstrated it himself and led me to do it many times. He was sure it was correct and corrected the wrong ones.
The master corrected my laziness in tying up clothes and the practice of “six seals and four closures”, and at the same time gave me instructions. At that time, my legs were shaking so violently that I could hardly hold on. There was a burst of breath in the left part of my heart, and I was sweating profusely. While praising and encouraging me, the master held my left leg with his leg to help me, and at the same time told me where to connect the lungs and where to connect the liver.
The master said that after ventilation, one would feel easy walking, no longer feeling top-heavy, and at the same time, there would be a sense of joy. At that time, I was only focused on wiping the sweat and didn’t fully understand. On the way home, I started hiccupping to catch my breath and couldn’t help humming a cheerful song. I guess this is what my master meant by the sense of pleasure.
I’m especially grateful to my master for showing me the true wonders of Tai Chi!
– July 29, 2019, Zhang Yaning from the beginner class
Today, I went to the martial arts school to receive guidance from my master. The question I asked my master was: What is the outer trinity? How can one achieve a three-in-one outer combination? How can one truly relax?
The master adjusted my boxing form, allowing me to experience it by myself and find the answer on my own. At the moment of closing, the lower body was very firm, while the shoulders, elbows and wrists were very loose and heavy. The circulation of qi and blood throughout the body immediately accelerated. The fingers swelled and felt slightly numb. After finishing the exercise, one felt energetic and slightly sweaty all over, feeling extremely comfortable.
But at this moment of being together, it’s hard to hold on for long. Mainly, the root of my thighs is very sore and my legs are shaking. I need to keep “rubbing” to gradually get closer to this state.
Thank you, Master!
– Chen Zhentian, Graduate Class, August 2, 2019
At about 15:50 on Sunday, August 4, 2019, I found No. 130, Xiange Hutong according to the time I had registered. No. 130 is not on the main street but hidden in the bustling city. Inside is a courtyard paved with blue bricks. On the west side, it is filled with green plants, including vine plants covered with small gourds symbolizing health. The master is guiding a boxing friend in practice in the north room. Coach Xiao Liu suggested that I move around first, so I practiced the eight methods of Tai Chi in the small courtyard. It’s really comfortable to practice on the blue brick floor, unlike the tiles in the office hall which are always slippery.
Next, my master gave me one-on-one guidance. Here are my feelings:
When my master corrected my movements for me, I felt as if all the bows in my body were fully drawn, and every part of my body was fully mobilized. It was a feeling of the entire nation being mobilized and fully stimulated.
I used to have a very vague understanding of the movements of Tai Chi, as if they were faintly visible under the starlight. It seemed that I could see them, but I didn’t see them completely. After my master corrected my movements and pointed out the key points for me, I felt instantly enlightened and everything became clear.
For every detail the master mentioned, some seemed to be understood at that time, but in fact, they were forgotten after returning home, which shows that they haven’t truly understood yet. However, many previously vague concepts have begun to become clear. I have started to understand the feeling I should seek when practicing Tai Chi in the future, and I am more confident about my future progress in Tai Chi and my physical health.
– Wu Ming, Intermediate Class, April 4, 2019
In the morning, I went to the martial arts school to receive one-on-one Tai Chi training from my master. My master comprehensively corrected the postures such as the starting posture and the Vajra pounding cone, including how to relax the shoulders, lower the elbows, relax the hips, lower the coccyx, and even the rotation of the toes. He gave meticulous guidance on every detail.
While listening to my master’s gentle words, I was doing the movements and experiencing the feeling of my fingers rubbing against the air… The patient and meticulous guidance of the master enabled me to not only feel the dignity of a strict teacher producing outstanding students, but also deeply appreciate the master’s fatherly love! The originally tense mood gradually relaxed like this, and the movements could be performed quickly.
When every movement is done properly, the qi and blood flow smoothly, the heart meridian is peaceful, and the fingertips tremble slightly… In the blink of an eye, several dozen minutes passed. In the practice room where the photo of the master was hung, I was practicing Chinese Old Tai Chi in front of the kind and strict master. Although I was sweating profusely and my clothes were soaked with sweat, I felt as if I were drinking tangerine juice, feeling refreshed and unrestrained, achieving great freedom!
Our parents give us life, and naturally they give us living. What our master bestows is an irreplaceable destiny! Everyone must cherish such an opportunity well! My expression skills are limited, but every word comes from the bottom of my heart! Thank you, Master! Thank you, coach!
